Keeps hanging up. External e-mails are very slow to open. Sometimes you send an e-mail and it does not send, but the user gets no feedback or error message.

The lack of storage increases the workload considerably. It becomes impossible to clear out your email inbox because you can only delete emails when you have replied to them and you can't reply to them because your inbox is too full! This requires you to move emails in and out of archives and therefore you risk losing or missing important emails.

A secure email to exchange patient sensitive information across Trusts/organisations is necessary to move away from fax machines and postal service!! Mailbox is also too small.

Good excuse to delete LOTS and LOTS of Trust e-mail as there is no space.

Working on two sites (acamemic) makes my job even more problematic with the current email system.

Inbox size far too small, and inadequate remote access some times. Access from home as well would be useful, especially when you are off for a couple of days.

it is impossible to work split site with two hospitals that are in such close contact (GOSH and UCLH) seeing patients simultaneously at both (surgery in one radiaition in another) and not able to access patient data or send information confidentially in a timely way to myself. the two systems arre mututally incompatible (gosh wont support nhs.net as storage too small, unless this is changing ) and duplication means endless time wasted. better management of spam is also required

Inbox size is too small, does not allow us to work effectively, hours are spent moving emails, inbox is closed if someone sends a large file and you then miss important messages.

I work at two hospitals. My other trust uses Exchange with easy off-site access and no storage problems for its inbox. My UCLH account needs only a couple of big attachments to get jammed (ironically, usually sent by people from non-UCLH accounts). My current NHS.net redirect of UCLH emails is only a partial solution as it strips out all cc's (and then I have to watch two email accounts for replies).

Makes my work as area leader who needs to pass on information very difficult. Perhaps we should all go onto NHS.net
