This petition is to get UCL Management to re-enter negotiations with UCU to protect the pensions and welfare of the lectures and all UCL staff. UCL staff dedicate their life to ensuring we get the highest quality education and academic resources; they deserve better than their future livelihoods being taken away from them. As a result of their strikes, students are loosing out on academic services, that they have not only paid for, but need to ensure their future livelihoods. If we do not support the needs of all the UCL staff during these strikes, where will it end? Cuts in psychological services? Cuts in careers services? We desperately urge the UCL management to re-enter negotiations with UCU for the livelihoods of all current and future UCL staff & students.
