With this increase I won't be able to continue my studies it way above my budget now... so if I an feing like this I a sure your gonna have persons who will dtop out as well

This increase is unfair for online students as we already have to pay other miscellaneous fees. Secondly we don't get the same amount of lecture time as face to face hence we are force to put in the extra work to seek additional info on a topic.

Online and face to face fees should not be the same. Online students remain at a disadvantage as it relates to getting quality lecture time and assistance.

How can you increase the tuition of a course which is not accredited?
It’s certainly unfair for face to face to be charged the same as online students as online students receive less lecture and tutorial time than face to face. In addition, students and teachers are also faced with the issue of technical difficulties via Moodle and Adobe Connect, and often times the teachers have to find alternative ways to provide make up sessions where sometimes this may prose an inconvenience for some students. Hence, my humble request to reconsider the fees proposed. Thank you.

I agree with petition. The fee is too much at one time. Whilst face to face use to pay more than online students there fee is now the same as online which make the increase for online students unfair. PLEASE ROLL BACK!

They have no sympathy towards us as students...I am in the same problem with them everything is money for Ucc they soon start charging to make a phone call to them...its not ignorance ..but just the plain truth.

We definitely cannot afford the already high fees plus other fees @ the UCC. I heard about it but planned to leave, the community colleges are better options. Not just the fees but there are some other policies such as if someone pass midmodule and course work going into the finals and fail finals by 5 or less marks the module will have to be done all over again. These too need to be revisited.

I would like for UCC to give me a reasonable, justifiable, unbias reason as to why online students should the same amount for tuition as face to face students.I would like for them to explain to me how having a 3hrs face to face class session is equal to a 1 hr chat session online. Additionally I have to pay for smart thinking application which is not user friendly.....that cost amounts to J$3600 per semester & I'm not using it. I strongly oppose to this increase because it is not FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!
