I hope UCB stands by its priority for and commitment to community, and agrees to keep Rosa on.

Id be very dissappointed if Rosa were to be let go. UCB always pushed community as a value in classes. The way you treat your employees speaks more than any branding or philosophy. I took classes at UCB because it reminded me of my dads small business. I know UCB is a much larger operation, but details like this really stick out and make everyone feel less welcome. Rosa should be celebrated for her contributions to this community, not fired after 9 years and 2 weeks vacation.

Heartless and shortsighted. Hopefully they can salvage what seems like a second chance, do right by Rosa, and send a better signal that they stand for people.

Rosa is an important member of our community and it feels very misguided to cut costs by firing a woman of color that works as in independent contractor in favor of a large company.

Rosa goes far above and beyond what anyone would expect from an employee. She's hardworking, reliable and efficient - On top of being sweet, thoughtful, and warm to EVERYONE. Rosa is one of a kind. She is family and we love her! Please reconsider!

I am very upset by this decision. Rosa is at UCB more than any other student, teacher, or performer. She is hard-working, dedicated, and deserves more than what she has been given. Rosa is part of the UCB family!

DISGUSTING. I am appalled. Aren't the Arts suppossed to be about heart? Where is the humanity?
