its honestly exhausting seeing the school act like they care about inclusion but then push rules that only cater to the panhellenic groups. we are already struggling to keep our numbers up and this just makes it impossible.

Too many times NALFO/Multicuktural orgs have been put to the side and ignored. I am tired of these ladies putting in WORK and not getting any recognition for it. They do their best with the obstacles their given but this would just worsen the gap.

I’ve seen too many of my sisters graduate without being able to become a big. I’ve seen too many of my sisters struggle because there’s simply not enough girls to help out. I’ve seen my sisters burn out. I’ve never once heard a Panhellenic woman discuss these topics. I’ve never once heard a Panhellenic woman complain about there not being enough people. I have heard Panhellenic women complain about MY organization. I have heard Panhellenic women complain about THEIR numbers as if they are down to less than 7 active members. We are trying. Everyday. We are at a disadvantage beyond belief and this is what is being handed to us.

This motion seems like a “formal” way of further marginalizing POC founded organizations on a campus that seems to only consider predominately white founded organizations. This is unfair and inconsiderate coming from a “ “diverse” campus.

It is against our National bylaws. It is not fair that other organizations will get the opportunity to do this and increase the number of new members they can possibly get. It's little things like this that keep the NALFO/Multicultural organizations small and scavenging for new members. For the past years it seems like we always get the left overs.
