To Whom It May Concern,

As an organization under the NALFO/Multicultural branch of the FSC council, the Sisters of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. would like to express why we disagree with the decision of allowing for Primary recruitment to be moved to fall semester. If this motion were to be passed, it would put Multicultural/NALFO organizations at a disadvantage due to the fact that all of us on campus cannot accept first term freshman due to our National requirements.

Multicultural/NALFO organizations on campus are already at a disadvantage and this decision would be the extra push that would widen the gap of exclusivity that exists between us and the branch of Panhellenic organizations. Not only is this motion extremely bias towards organizations that can allow first term freshman but extremely inconsiderate to those of us who cannot. We understand that this decision has been pending for years and the majority of organizations here on campus are highly in favor of this rule being passed, but please consider how it will affect all present and incoming NALFO/Multicultural organizations in the future.
