I do not use taxi anymore since Uber is in Macau.
The taxi drivers are for most of them, rude, unpolite and drive like crazy, smoke sometimes while driving, talk on the phone, and insult their passengers, on top they do not speak english and do not want to make an effort.
Uber, no comments, always been treated nicely, polite drivers, courteous, helping if we have luggage, and driving with a smile !
Why is the Macau government willing to stop Uber ? It as well give work to some people !
