No taxis when we need it. They are usually refusing taking people, rude and over charging.

Police have been fining these drivers when they've provided a great service because the taxi service in Macau is disgusting with bad mannered drivers swearing, refusing fares, overcharging and aggressive behavior towards customers.

Uber is the only improvement in urban mobility that hapanned in Macau since I moved here 4 years ago.
Uber only brings Macau to a higher standard in terms of transportation. In a city like this the existing taxis are s shame for residents and tourists

Uber is not only vital to the transportation ecosystem of Macau avoiding monopoly from the black taxi, it is a much more convenient, efficient and the drive-partners are far more respectful than their counterpart. Uber is integral to the development of Macau's Public Transportation!

Despite understanding the fears and worries of the traditional drivers in Macau, I believe Uber brings competition to the society and that competition is needed for drivers to step up their game and for efficiency to thrive.
