UA Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony/Weekend

My son, Jacob Noe, was scheduled to graduate (a year early) on May 1, 2020. We would like the option of him walking in a future ceremony.

The UA Seniors have all worked very hard and have looked forward to their graduation. Please reschedule! Let’s make sure it’s their day and not to be shared with another class. Many “Lasts” for this class are going to be lost let’s not lose this one too! Roll Tide!

Looking forward to seeing our daughter cross the stage at the graduation of her dream school! Thank you for every effort in making this happen this summer.

A ceremony would be so nice for our graduates!

Please please please don’t combine this special event with any other class scheduled graduation. There is enormous competition for hotel rooms even with the normal class size. Keeping this to the Spring 2020 graduation group will allow at least the possibility of affordable hotel rooms. Thanks!

Our children have worked so very hard for this and deserve to have their moment before they begin their adult lives.

Please dont cancel this. Kids have worked too hard to not cross the stage and be recognized for all they have accomplished. Some of these kids are first time family college grads.

This would be such a honor. The hard work and the pride of graduating from the U of A is a big deal. Thank you for consideration!!

I support scheduling graduation at an alternate date.

I think any parent of a senior feels the importance of graduation for the class of 2020. These students have worked hard and done well to be able to arrive at this point in their life for this they should be recognized. The spring before graduation is filled with so many "last" events which this group of senior will not get to experience. Please do not allow graduation to be one of those experiences lost.

These kids worked hard for 4 or more years. They have paid a lot of money to the school and was loyal to the school. The school needs to show their loyalty and appreciation to the students and their families.

I spent a lot of money (out of state) for my Bammer to attend Bama. I want the opportunity to see her walk.

Thank you for considering this important request. Other universities are going the option for students to participate in a later graduation rate. This was also done at the University of Alabama after the tornado. Please, please, please give our students this option. '

The senior class at UA has worked tremendously hard at a very pristine and difficult university. They deserve to show their families their accomplishments and walk across the stage with their fellow classmates. This time is difficult enough for everyone, but the seniors have it worse than anyone. They will never get to attend UA as a student again, and now there is a chance that their graduation will be taken away from them.
