Hey Homies,

I would love the opportunity to represent our class in the Student Bar Association ('SBA')! I look forward to working with the rest of the SBA to help advocate for Duals. I believe there is definitely improvements that need to be made.

In my role as the Dual JD class representative of the Student Law Society I led many student-focused initiatives. For example, I advocated for students and championed the implementation of failsafe exams for all first year students in my program due to a rise in mental health concerns as a result of the pandemic and remote learning. I continue to be a leader in the community as I organized multiple OCI workshops, which gave many students from our class the chance to connect with summer students from various law firms and organizations.

Regardless of the outcome of any election I will continue to be a leader for our class. I believe that the SBA is in good hands whether it is Peal, Lily or I that are the president. The team is already amazing as is and I can't wait to see all the incredible things that the SBA does this year!

All the best,

Tyrone Sequeira
