CS:GO got 1 million concurrent viewers and had 300k plus for the entire event.Everyone has started to see how other eSports are ran and how much growth they see on Twitch, MLG has stunted the growth because we can't get new viewers as easy because everyone on MLG.tv is already a fan of competitive COD. On Twitch people see LoL or CS:GO or whatever it is with massive numbers and they tune in and either don't like it or become a fan and join in with it all, COD can't do that on MLGThe growth of COD has been slow ever since the switch to MLG, look at how fast COD grew in BO2, we had a good competitive game with pretty decent dev support and it was on Twitch which was also growing rapidly at the time. Sure Ghosts had record numbers but the % of growth wasn't as big it was in BO2 and Ghosts hurt the scene so much that AW has suffered from itSome people want COD to start copying CS:GO in that we play SnD only, preferably Promod and some suggesting 5v5. IMO that's not going help and it will just make COD look like a poor mans CS:GO. We need to take elements from CS that make it successful. I honestly think that Activision needs to see the huge market for eSports and start having COD made for the competitive scene, the casual scene is dying whilst the competitive scene is growing (slowly but it is growing)
