Stop Expansion and Permit of Twin Sisters Gun Club

Concern for quiet enjoyment, safety of family, fire hazard, and quality of water in the long run.

Expanding the Twin Sisters Gun Club would exacerbate existing fire hazards in the area. It would also create new fire hazards in an area that is tinder dry much of the year.

We have our property on the market and are concerned that prospective buyers might put-off with having a very active gun club in the area.

Twin Sisters Road is a narrow road which winds up a mountain. It was not designed to carry the amount of traffic this expansion would engender and cannot do so safely.

Along with the noise also comes the increased traffic. Non-Residents don't know this narrow road and drive recklessly fast. It is too dangerous to walk here anymore. It's pretty bad when you have to drive down the road and park just so you can go and walk your dog! Not to mention the dead animals along the roadside that didn't have a chance getting out of the way of a speeding car.

We strongly oppose any expansion of the gun club activity. We recommend reducing the current activitiy to non-commercial target practice.. During the last few years the noise has increased at all hours, including very early morning, nighttime and weekends. We moved to the country for peace & quiet, not loud shooting, including automatic weapons. We don't oppose sporadic family target practice, but the commercial operation has ruined our quiet valley. Most weekends, a caravan of 10 + vehicles of non-locals drive up/down the road at unsafe speeds. One recent morning, we counted at least 25 vehicles within a 30 minute period driving up the road to the club.

We oppose any increase in gun club activity, which is counter to the benefits of living in this beautiful valley. No gun club would be our preference.

We moved here in 2002 with an understanding of the Gun Club activities which stayed the same until 3-4 years ago. Now the noise level & traffic on the very winding parts of the narrow road have escalated to the point of being problematic.

Small gun club is okay. I do not want to expand. Current noise on weekends is enough.

It is becoming increasingly difficult the last 5 years to live in the proximity of this club if not impossible at times. This club needs to go back at least to the level of 15 years ago otherwise it will decrease the value of our properties, people and future development. The benefit and revenue we could get as a society from this business now does not even compare with the one we can get as a better community without it

I moved to the Suisun Valley for peace and quite. I don't want to hear a gun battle going on in my backyard.

We do not need a gun range in Green Valley

Bring this to an end!

We hear the firing of guns regularly already. We do not need an expansion of this.
