I may be younger than a lot of you, but I've been watching General Hospital with my mother since I was in the womb. She's always at work in the afternoons, so we always watched the re-airings. GH is our favorite show.

Detest ABC. As far as I'm concerned, they have pulled this for the last time. First time, 'shame on you', 2nd time, 'shame on me'. Never again. I gave up ABC a long time ago - just watch midway through 11pm nightly news for weather report - then I am out of there. Don't return for 24-hours. I think now I am going to go elsewhere for the weather report as well. This little stunt they have pulled on loyal and faithful viewers is the last straw. They have proven by their deeds that they really don't give a damn about us at all. All of our comments and pleadings have fallen on deaf ears. Well, the only thing left for me and ABC is waiting to see the next biggest ratings and seeing that ABC is in the toiilet - where they really belong. But in the meantime, I am always optimistic that somewhere, somehow, sometime (hopefully soon), our shows will be rescued and we can go back to having programming that all of us truly like. Network television is limping into oblivion, albeit slowly, however it is done - put a fork in it. And cable isn't too great as well. We all have a commonality and that is our love for our soaps and our loyalty to them. I would be delighted if TVGN or some as yet unknown channel would pick up our re-runs. The chances of bringing back new shows doesn't look very hopeful, the costs are too great. But we can at least hope for years and years of re-runs. So, let's all think positive and imagine that we will win out in the end.
Leave our soaps alone and let us watch them!
