Dear TV Guide Network,
Millions of soap fans are disappointed about SoapNet being discontinued. It was the one, unique network on the air devoted entirely to the soap opera genre. With December 31, 2013 looming—SoapNet’s official last day on the air—soap fans are looking for a home for the evening cable re-airings of General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. We are elated and grateful that Bold and the Beautiful and Young and the Restless have TVGN as a home for their cable re-airings and we all loved the “Who Shot the Daytime Soap” documentary that just aired recently. Please consider adding General Hospital and Days of Our Lives to your weekday primetime lineup!

A thousand names on this list is honestly wild because I really just started this out of frustration while watching the clock tick down on SoapNet. I keep reading the comments and realizing so many people feel this exact same way about losing their shows and it makes me think maybe we actually have a shot at getting someone at the network to pay attention.

I keep refreshing the page and seeing the tally tick upward which is honestly just wild because we are getting so near that one thousand mark that I keep thinking about what it will look like when we finally show them the total. If you could just ping one person who misses those evening episodes as much as I do we might actually hit this goal before I even have time to make another cup of coffee.

i am a single mom who works during the day while my soap is on, soapnet was awesome! please bring my show back, its so.important to me its mommy time for me, i cried to come home and find it gone! please bring my days baxk to me
I was so used to being able to catch up with my soaps if I missed them during the day. I'm not able to watch online due to the type of internet connection that I have. Please consider re-airing same day episodes of General Hospital and Days of our lives
Reairing all of the soaps is important because of breaking news/weather problems that interferes with original airings. It isn't always feasible to watch online if viewers are a little behind episodes, or for download/streaming reasons.
I do not have internet or dvr Soapnet is the only way I can watch Days of Our Lives. I will truly miss the channel. I enjoy watching Brothers & Sisters. Please find a way to either keep Soapnet or put DOOL on TVGN. Thank you.

People like me work and cannot watch on ABC need a backup to watch since soap net went off . I need my GH fix everyday or I am not happy. Watching online not the same with all the buffering and stuff takes to long Please bringmy soap back on another channel.
