Yet another sport that once becoming more popular with Brits having more of a chance of winning then goes to pay per view coverage. As said previously, this will kill off Motogp in the UK.

This is nothing short of extortion. I love watching MotoGP but am not interested in watching football/rugby/cricket/other sports shown on BT Sport, so refuse to pay £12/month to watch MotoGP once every few weeks. I'll never use BT for anything after this

This will kill off Moto GP in the UK and harm the UK's chances of having a future champion in the sport.Think this will backfire on BT as very few will subscribe even though it has the best line up of UK riders for years. Will be a minority sport by end of deal

We pay enough for TV as it is, without BT trying to make us pay more.
it makes me wonder where all this money has come from, to buy all these rights.
I hope they go bust !

Having followed motogp for many years on tv and travel, regretfully will be unable to do so anymore due to this ludicrous decision by Dorna to sell out to BT Sports.

This can only lead to a deterioration in support for Moto GP in the UK.

This now makes Moto GP less available to the masses, Formula One gets the coverage so why not bikes its just as popular. Julian and Toby were the best commentators too, absolutely gutted I wont be able to watch it.

Pretty much all of the sport that has been watched for many years on the BBC has been taken by every other company going. They are fast becoming the worst channel for sport. I relied on Eurosport for MotoGP as didn't know whether to go to the red button/online or not at all for the BBC but have now lost that. Some of us cannot afford to pay more than we do now on our budgets. BBC license fee needs looking at too interested in ploughing the money into soaps and reality/celebrity shows and not much else. Snooker and bowls are not mainstream viewing. So only BSB and WSB to watch with Tai Woffenden et al in the speedway. Looks like they will be getting the backing of the TV fans now and MotoGP will lose British fans hand over fist. What happened to giving the viewers a choice?

The decision should be made more for the fans rather than who has the biggest bag of cash.

Has no one learnt the lesson first suffered by cricket and sky. But at least there are now terrestrial highlights. I have followed motorcycle racing for over 40 years. At least allow some delayed coverage on other than BT.

I wonder what MotoGP sponsors
will think when they realise that
there has been a crash in viewer
numbers in the UK just because Dorna thinks that they can make a quick buck?
