I get BT Sport for free with broadband, but I would rather watch MotoGP on Eurosport. The BT team are mostly totally useless, and there seems to be nothing but hours of witter in the studio. Yesterday, coverage started at 3pm, but they didn't show the MotoGP warm-up - just another hour of rambling chat. And don't get me on to Melanie Sykes - what is she for? She looked like a bunny in the headlights most of the time, and I can't take any more of her hysterical giggling

Very sad loss. The BBC coverage was great and the video footage in HD even better.

For the first time in many many years I haven't seen the first race of the season. This is because i'm not prepared to pay BT for something that the BBC should be covering as part of our licensing deal. Not happy at all. BT are trying to swallow up the sport.

Please don't destroy British support of moto gp.
Sponsors will withdraw teams will fold and the sport will die for UK riders and teams, all because of greed !!!

British people pay again! What an f×××ing joke! With rising costs of EVERYTHING in this country it would be nice to think we could still watch r fav sport without a hike in costs. I will not be signing up to BT sports. robbing bastards. Awaiting the heros on youtube.

What a horrible shock today, finding that the best motorsport by far, is now only available at a cost of £180 per year on top of our normal TV licence fee!
Dorma must be off their trolley’s to forgo mass audience exposure the BBC gave them?
First I had heard of this was this morning, when I eagerly looked for what time to set my recorder to get the race before rushing off to work?
Nothing!!
Then looked at the Internet once I got to work - Horrified at what a quick search told me - In fact, horrified is such an understatement!
I already work 7 days a week, so I watch almost no TV anyway (only snippets of news real time) and will (in common with a great many others) simply have to forget all about Moto GP from now on!
Bring back the BBC coverage - They even had 'real' commentators who were generally a credit to the sport as were human, so made mistakes, but just like the riders, got up after their crash and carried on!
Suzi, Matt and Azi – all knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and at times, the combo of Parish and Cox’y were just so funny – That whole team worked - they really added a lot to the fantastic racing, and of course, no adverts really helped!
F1 on ITV was a farce a few years back, and is why I won’t bother with the ITV4 coverage unless I manage not to know the result by Monday night (some chance!)
I will still have to record it as well, as will still be at work - so at least if I do bother, I can fast forward through the garbage I do not want to see, and have not got time to watch, which will really please ITV4's sponsors as well when they find out - Seems like we all loose out then as a result of this?
I think it was going to be a fantastic season, just like last year, and I'd actually got a lot more people watching it again then, as F1 had got so processional!
RIP Moto GP IN THE UK!
Isn't blackmail illegal ?
