They won promotion fairly, they've secured the funding which is a massive achievement in itself, the plans will be finished before the beginning of the season. What's the actual problem?! Pedantic decisions like this are killing grassroots football. Change your minds and do the right thing!

Hope common sense prevails and the correct decision is made. The club have worked tremendously hard on the pitch for the past season and now off the pitch in time for the new season!

Surely common sense should prevail and they should be allowed to take their place in a higher division. Football without promotion and relegation for me loses all integrity!

I appreciate rules need putting in place BUT this is ridiculous NOT to honour the promotion with ALL the improvements & the right!

Dear League committee,
Why March 31st? The logical time to do ground improvements is the off-season!
You can choose to allow a little flexibility in this illogical rule, or you can refuse Turton's request and thus qualify for entry to the Administrative Pedants Hall of Fame, and with it, national ridicule. This story is growing by the day....
