31st March looks like an entirely arbitrary deadline and promotion decisions belong on the field, not in a committee room.

The SPL in Scotland tried this with my club, Inverness Caley Thistle, when we won Scot Div 1 in 2004. Your league must recognise your achievement and work WITH their clubs rather than against them. Good luck Turton FC!

These Guys are 100% committed & have secured the funding & the required improvements will be carried out before the start of the season. So whats the Problem ?

If a team gets into a position where they should be promoted they should be promoted. If their pitch isnt good enough that should be up to the league they are going into to decide what to do with them (e.g. Deduct points or force a pitch move or a pitch upgrade.

Sack the league committee too old and set in their ways. Used to be a good league the West Lancs its a bit of a joke nowadays
