I was in this traffic yesterday after this accident. I drive this hwy.every day as I go to work. The traffic on coming is at 45mph but very rarely do people driving slow down. And some of the parents dropping off kids here at the school are not yielding to oncoming traffic, they pull out in front of traffic going into the school and coming out. I know some kids going to this school. It's a wonderful school but unfortunately in a bad area. Please make changes to this area. For God's sakes people are getting hurt and killed.

My child goes to Renaissance Academy and I clinch my teeth and pray everytime I am waiting to turn into the school because I know my children in the backseat will receive the hardest impact if we get hit! There have been many accidents right there and a few resulting in death. Is it going to take the fatality of a child for someone to listen and put a turning lane in?!?! Please protect our children's lives! All lives for that matter! Please, please add a turning lane!

I had lived off the highway for 20 years and have seen people loose there lives, crash their vehicles, put a motorcycle across the road right in front of me and myself had to go to extremes to get out of harms way! Something needs to be done!

Hwy 20 & 400W has been a bad intersection for the last 30yrs. I know I live on 400W , 3/4 mi. North of 20.

I drive 20 everyday 4 times a day. It is terrifying. Especially by the Renaissance school. As I slow down and merge to the right lane for the parents, vehicles fly up on my jeep and almost hit me daily. I have a child in my car 2 out of the 4 times a day. Not only do they need a turn lane we need officers or a camera to catch those driving reckless. Another area is the turn off to la lumiere. Because it is on a hill people who don't know the area have no regard to that turn off. I have been run off the road by a charter bus on at that turn because it was going well over 70 and had to slam the breaks and swerve to avoid slamming into a car and in turn making me go off the shoulder. 20 is by far the most dangerous road in laporte county.

Don't forget to contact the Governor and Senator's offices as well. Squeaky wheel gets the grease (and the road funding!)
