Turn Signal in TEXAS
Like millions, I have gotten so frustrated with drivers that do NOT use their turn signal. The Texas Transportation Code states:(a) An operator shall use the signal authorized by Section 545.106 to indicate an intention to turn, change lanes, or start from a parked position. - See more at: http://codes.lp.findlaw.com/txstatutes/TN/7/C/545/C/545.104#sthash.bjuO1izA.dpuf
BUT there is ONE flaw with this, and that is the fact that in obvious situations the turn signal is not needed. If you were at a stop sign, and the only possible direction in which you could advance forward was to the RIGHT then is it necessary to use the turn signal to indicate you are turning? So, you can’t go straight because there is not a road in front of you, you can’t turn left because it’s a one way, which way will you turn?
