I live in castlepark so getting to school over bridge in the mornings is a nightmare. It should only take a few minutes to get from my house to school but since the turning on of those traffic lights no matter what time we start at it takes over 45 mins and that is not exaggerated its a nightmare and if someone sends back a reply saying walk -why don't you try walking in middle of winter in the lashing rain with a child. They need to be turned off . They are just causing disruption.

Turn all the lights off for a week and se the improvement it would make to the town.
Put in zebra crossings.

It is absolutely crazy situation and to make matters worse they are not synchronized with any of the other lights as well resulting in traffic jams on the other approaches. It has been going on way too long. I also agree with the other signatures here, why can't our Minister use his influence on this issue? It turns people away from going into town.

crazy. Who ever put this plan in action should be sacked. Mallow town is a disgrace already and they are only adding to the troubled town. Get rid of the lights and who ever wasted all that tax payers money....

We have a sitting minister (junior) in town can he not use his powers to get these lights switched off?
Also there was a traffic survey carried out that recommended these lights be put in place surely be to feck they should be held responsible for this joke

These traffic lights are a joke! Ridiculous to have traffic backed up at Joseph's road at 8am during summer months and all this before they go putting a school at the top of the road!! I mean seriously!

Lights need to go but we will still need a zebra crossing to cross the road at the end of town as it is very dangerous with children in the Spa / Clockhouse area but traffic is ruining the town .
