Wireless technology is violating human rights on an unprecedented scale. All children deserve safe schools that allow them to develop to their full potential. Thank you for signing the Turn It Off 4 Kids petition and also for leaving your thoughtful comments. As a parent who has been dealing with this issue for many years now, I appreciate reading them very much. The situation has gotten a lot worse and we need to step it up for the kids. My daughter gets headaches from Wi-Fi and we have hardwired our computers at home and put in a landline instead of DECT phones. Her school is moving towards WLAN with wireless computers even though we made a presentation compelling them to upgrade the existing hardwire system to no avail. The school just quotes that it follows "Safety Code 6". We have demonstrated that this code does not protect our children and is not acceptable. No one listens and they just forge ahead. It's a real tradgedy unfolding.

My son gets headaches from the two industrial strength routers in his classroom and no one asked me if I approved of him being exposed to microwave radiation. No one has even measured the levels and when I asked what they were, they shrugged.
