Central High School is reported to has over 2,400 students. Almost everyday, our parents are getting multiple constant emails stating that a student has covid. This is becoming an extreme safety issue, as our students and teachers are risking not only their own health but the health of their guardians, children, siblings, and fellow classmates. The longer we stay in school - the more cases there will be. Tuesday we only had 1,700 students attend school, according to administration, and we are missing teachers as well. As of Saturday, January 1st there were 17,575 covid cases in PA alone. If Centrals top priority is the students safety, why put us at more risk?
