It might be scary for the producers to take the risk, but the world needs canon gay couples in mainstream film - we are ready. It doesn't need to be something that's made a big deal out of, it should be treated like any other relationship that's in the subtext of a film. It's not about having Bechloe as a couple become the focus of the plot, we're not asking for a film about their romantic relationship - it would just be nice to see them interacting as a couple within the context of the plot. That's what the world needs; it's about acceptance.
