People in and around Palmerston North care about the Turbos. The team has an organic relationship with the community, unlike the somewhat artificial relationship with the Hurricanes. The Manawatu Turbos have the fans and they have the results. However, they are not a hugely fashionable team, and this seems to be the overriding reason for why the NZRFU plans to drop them at the end of the year. This petition is to urge the NZRFU not to drop the Turbos to the second division unless the results at the end of the season warrant it. Visit http://www.keeptheturbos.com
