Many Kenyans arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (international arrival lounge) are harassed by bribe-hunting officers from either the immigration dept. or KRA. One arrives in Nairobi exhausted and longing to rest. Then the circus begins. They order you to open your luggage, rummage through it, demand bribes for that used phone you brought your aunt... They know and you know you've got nothing to declare but they'll delay you for hours on end until you part with kitu kidogo. This has to STOP!

Such a bad behavior n MUST stop . It really pains when you can't carry a gift back home whenever you're on a trip. It has happened to me twice.
