My brother is blind, but also the smartest, and most genuine person I've ever met. He loves his college and work. He's no different from me, he just works harder!

I worked for this man, he works hard and it's very proud of his job.
He's an example for the blind community, but also the disabled community. He works very hard even thought he has to face daily changes due to him being blind. Very successful at his business

Oklahoma's budget is how many millions in the hole and this senator is worried about putting blind people out of work and loosing tax revenues. What is in it for Rep. Kirby????

Gland did the same thing to my boss when he had the commissary, now this yahoo!! It's not RIGHT to take away their livelihood, because of greed! They just want to support themselves & give jobs to others! They want to contribute to society! I am the one that Larry hired that had birth defects myself & I thank God for Larry & his wife Jill for making me feel worthy! The only reason I'm not working there still is because CCA made my job a nightmare! The Sheriff dept needs to leave them alone & let them live! Everyone deserves a chance at success without having to worry about it being stolen from them!

Local Statute Title 7 should protect Blind Operators with the Support of Randolph-Sheppard Act of 1936.

As a previous employee of another vendor, and having assisted Mr. McCray, I know first-hand some of the issues they had years ago. They should be rectified now and Tulsa County Sheriff's Office needs to leave this vendor alone!

This has been a problem for YEARS. The greed of Glanz has continued to the current administration. A recent article in the Tulsa World pointed out that the commissary accounts, run by county jail personnel, are in shambles. Give this honest, hardworking man his due.

I totally support the right of blind venders to continue to work at the Tulsa Co. jail and ask the legislature to support these folks to be able to make a living in the commisarry allowing them to avoid having to depend on disability additionally Tulsa Co. should be required to live up to the agreements they are a party to.
