Franklin County will soon offer TYBA as a choice of youth baseball as well.

About time! Very glad to hear there will be another option other than the little league I have disagreed with for a few years now. Praying the new league will support and focus more on the kids other than their own gains, and bring more of the community in! I don't like to talk bad about organizations but I'm sorry to say our home town Little League baord members act more like an elite secret society

My son does not play for Tullahoma but I personally know an awesome young man whom played for Tullahoma until he was shunned because the coaches and higher ups did not like him pointing out the things that were going on in this league. It is very sad that this young man with such a bright future was treated the way that he was! Change needs to happen and this league needs to get back to the roots of Little League Baseball!

It's crazy that parents are being banned from voting just because they have difference of opinions from the higher ups of Tullahoma Little League. All because they wanted change for their kids in little league! And then to think one of the little league baord members stole money from the little league funds and that person does not even get banned! Their are other team mom's and coaches that want to see change too but don't dare say anything for fear of getting banned! Why would I let my kids play for that kind of bullying leadership? I'm all for the new league! Bring on the change for Tullahoma!

As parents/coaches we are to teach children to love the game they play and express good sportsmanship. (Which this league does not set a good example at all) What about the Creed that is read at Opening Ceremonies? The conduct and behavior that our "board memebers" betray is sad! The example that these superiors set is unreal. There is a lot of talent/potential talent that is over looked due to the "name game" once again not a very good example! My children love playing baseball as well as other sports but due to the "buddy system" one of mine has chosen to set baseball out. As much as I hated to hear that, I wasn't upset because as a parent i am not happy with the "example" that "adults" of the league is setting!!

The secret cult that has governed the youth baseball of Tullahoma has completely lost sight of what baseball is about.

I thought "Little League" was for the youth, but in Tullahoma, it is for the parents. When you have parents fighting, arguing, etc, while the children are playing the game, this is totally unacceptable. When you try to talk to any board member about these issues, they are not concerned at all. Rather than discuss an issue with you, they completely ban you from coaching, voting, etc. How does this help the kids? They already have a difficult time finding coaches, so how does this help? I thought this was America and we all had Freedom of Speech? Well, not in Tullahoma Baseball! If you do not agree with them, you are outta there. Again, how does this help anything? That is why these board members stay on the board. They have it set up to where no change can take place! People....let's stand up for these kids of Tullahoma....and let them play their sport!

My grandkids and I try to go to most of the ball games at cascade since its walking distance. I have noticed over these past few years the increase in problems with the league itself. Listening to parents complain because they can't get an answer from the board members, double standard rules, and tons of backstabbing to benifeit their own. I encourage and support this change. This is about kids not adults. This is suppose to be America s greatest game. Let's bring it back!!!!!

I am full supporting this change. Little League is a dying breed. Our town deserves the best.

I come from a Tullahoma family that was heavily involved in baseball as my uncle was drafted to the SanFranGiants back in the day, I, myself, used to love the game until so many "corporate" policy/procedures/& payouts/offs came into play in which now my boys can not play due to costs. I also come from a family that lives in America where baseball IS America's game...I fear that too many children are being left out/cast out due to the cost which crushes my heart so imagine what the children who have yet to learn how to deal with and accept denial especially when they have no fault in the ability of the parents to pay!!! Nevertheless, when the parents of the kids on the team were in a private chat...I did say PRIVATE, yet this chat prohibited their right to vote...now I know I'm right that kids' sport teams should never become corporate entities...there are too many kids that want and NEED to play for Tullahoma to let these entities take away our "rich" tradition!!!
