All good points but can you answer a few questions
- what is this a reaction to
- is this petition made by the same person or persons who brought the street closure to the forefront around 2014 which now has resulted in an unwanted negotiation
- is this petition a result of the trustee election results
- What is the historical trustee candidate numbers - it could be difficult filling 7 positions
- is there data that suggests that 7 is better than 5 trustees
- is there data that suggests that 7 in discord is more dysfunctional than 5
I’m commenting anonymously for a host of reasons that I hope can be understood.
We should make decisions based on the good of the community and I hope that’s what people are considering here.

Absolutely in favor of this. The current structure just doesn’t seem to be working. There has been so much instability in my short 6 years here, we need to try a different approach.

It’s a shame that 3 people can decide who our Superintendent should or should not be. Take a look at New Rochelle to see how quickly a district can deteriorate when it doesn’t have stability.
