I was just reading through a handful of the latest comments and honestly it is overwhelming to see how many people in this district see exactly what is happening in our classrooms. I am spending my evenings drafting notes to the board members because if they aren't going to listen to the teachers directly they are definitely going to have to listen to the rest of us eventually.

I was just looking at the total and realized we are knocking on the door of 250 signatures and honestly that is just wild to think about because it really shows how many people in this town actually see what is happening to our teachers. If everyone who already signed just grabbed one other person to add their name to the list right now we would blow past that mark in a heartbeat and really give the board something to talk about when we show up.

I was looking at the board meeting schedule today and realized we are almost at one hundred signatures so please just send the link to a few people before I lose my mind thinking about these teachers struggling to pay rent in Tahoe.

Support our local schools by supporting the teachers. They deserve a decent contract for once.
My kids love their teachers so much. They work so hard and deserve to be paid fairly for their time. Do the right thing board.
Living in Tahoe is way too expensive for what they are getting paid. Teachers are the backbone of this town.
Teachers do way more then just teach during school hours. I see our coaches and mentors working late all the time. Give them a raise.
PAY THEM WHAT THEY ARE WORTH. It is ridiculous that we lose good teachers because they cant afford to live here.
