Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of those rare gems of TV; in the current climate of so called reality TV and mediocre, short lived shows that come and go; TSCC really does stand out as one of the few genuinely entertaining, thought provoking, scripted shows around. Combining a mix of suspense, drama, exciting and unpredicatble plot twists, excellent character development and on screen chemistry, and - of course - action; The Sarah Connor Chronicles has added the an exciting, fascniating new angle to the Terminator Universe. Unfortunately; recent ratings have led to widespread speculation and rumours about the possible cancellation of the show. Ratings have been in decline; at least in part, due to the writer's strike during Season One, and the mid-season hiatus during Season Two. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, in its short time so far, has proven itself extremely popular; nominated for the Saturn Award's 2007 "Best Network Televison Series," and nominated for several Teen Choice and Primetime Emmy awards in 2007 and 2008. It would be a significant blow to the fans, to quality scripted television, and to the science fiction genre in general, to allow the show to fade away before achieving its full potential. We therefore respectfully implore FOX and Warner Bros to keep the show alive for a third season, and allow the show to live to its full potential. We need to show FOX and Warner Bros that we love the show, and that despite the reduced Nielsen ratings, The Sarah Connor Chronicles is reaching their target audience. Stand up and make your voice count. There is no future but what we make!
