Hi During the summer'2010 there was this special train running between Tiruchirapalli and Bangalore via Srirangam, ariyalur,Vridachalam, Chinna Salem,Salem, Krishnarajapuram. Due to continuos demand and popularity, the train was extended for many times and ran till October. Dont know the reason why it got suddenly stopped despite the demand. Indian Railways can continue the train in this same route as it served many people who have roots in TamilNadu and living in Bangalore for the work, especially the young software community who migrated from their natives in TN to KA. If revenue and passenger popularity is the reason, the unreserved coaches were always running half filled and the train can be continued by disengaging those unnecessary extra open coaches. Mysore express plying between mayiladuthurai and mysore is always on waiting list any given day due to huge amount of cities it's covering, mysore, tanjore, kumbakonam,mayiladuthurai,etc Thanks and regards Shanmugavel Sankaran one of the favorite user of this train
