We the people, and fans and supporters of celebrities, are creating this online petition to help stop the media from creating non-authenticated stories, without viable proof. This petition also includes slanderous remarks, vicious gossip/rumors, and citing sources that are not reliable, and do not come from visual proof, or release statements from the actual celebrities or their representation. This petition started from the group that has now formed called #TruthisStronger i.e. Truth is Stronger. This group was formed by fans of Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron dubbed Zanessa, due to the constant string of innuendos and gossip made by mass gossip media sites, to show our support and concern that actors like them, and many more are used not only for entertainment purposes to make sales, but also to defame, and create dissension for expressed celebrities, and their fans. All sources should be properly cited, and verified by representation or the celebrities themselves before any remark that is not founded by made. A disclaimer should be placed on all gossip or rumors stating that it has not been verified, and may be untruthful. We do recognize and honor the Freedom of Speech Amendment in the Constitution, and do believe in the foundations in which our forefathers created the right to speak, but there should be responsibility for what is said by media, and an added disclaimer when reporting false facts. Pictures can speak a thousand words but so can the voice of many fans who believe that a persons character should not be maligned to make sales. We support all celebrities right to the truth, and to have their life not misconstrued. All celebrities deserve equality and respect, and we the fans should not be subjected to tyranny conduct of the media, nor be misled into dissension, which can cause ill affects to not only the celebrities personal lives, but that of their professional lives. We only wish to be supportive, and lead by example, and show the celebrities we support them without having to cause them any unwanted media backlash, or gossiping.
