I don’t understand how Truro can hold town meetings outside of Truro and have it be a legal vote. This should not be legal.

Why do theses planners feel that integrity doesn’t matter ? It’s bad enough that they undermine confidence in their ability to represent the will of the townspeople now are essentially discouraging our support

Win or lose, agree or disagree on the merits of any particular issue, we should never allow manipulation of the democratic process to gain advantage. The Town Meeting voters overwhelmingly (and sensibly) voted to convene on these important issues in May rather than the middle of winter. This should not be overridden by an informal session of our Legislature without debate or recorded votes.
