This portrait is valued by so many American citizens. We love our country, her people and are hopeful for our president elect Donald J. Trump. The refusal by the Smithsonian is just another insult by the cultural Marxists that have taken over our American society. Many valued the portrait of President Obama, even those who disagree with out current president recognize the value in having his protrait displayed in a prominent place like the Smithsonian. The portrait 'Unafraid and Unashamed' byJulian Raven has served as a symbol of personal liberty, freedom and the rejection of nonsensical political correctness culture. We the American people respectfully ask that this portrait be displayed and this great American artist be recognized by the Smithsonian. Thank you and God Bless.

I am dead against Trump. I am look in dismay the Bible thumping bunch who have been conned into thinking that he is their guy. He has one religion, himself. It's such a shame that there was nobody better than Hilary to get him laughted off the stage.But I guess this is indicative of our times and the ridiculous Reality Show where people's headspaces dwell these days. The world is not ready for Bernie, Jeremy Corbin or even Russell Brand. But one day I hope we can begin to elect sane decent people into positions of power and perhaps something will change for the better. Perhaps this is will be purge and a step where hitting rock bottom will mean the only way is up. Or maybe he's more moderate than he portrayed himself and will only kick the ass of the people who really deserve it. Who knows, it's done now.
Next time I think they need to look at the voting system so that the guy with the most votes actually wins.
Anyway. This artist is a great friend of mine and his commitment, passion, dedication and talent drives me to sign this petition.

I am appalled that ANY U.S. President would be left out of recorded history because your board members don't agree with him.
Nobody knows who you even are or cares how you feel. But we DO care that this historical moment be available for generations to come.

Without question the "Unafraid & Unashamed" portrait should be hanging in the Smithsonian during the Inauguration. This painting has been a part of the history of election year 2016 and its rightful place is in the Smithsonian

The Smithsonian's refusal to display the Trump painting, 'Unafraid and Unashamed' should outrage all Americans. Refusing to display this Pro-Trump painting shows a political double-standard and total disrespect to the next rightfully elected President of the USA. The Smithsonian is showing bias on what and what isn't acceptable to be displayed in the Gallery. In 2009, they set a precedent by displaying a Pro-Obama poster on Inauguration Day. I encourage ALL Americans to sign this petition.
