Hello all !! Music is a form of expression for all of us. It brings joy, sense of freedom, sense of well being. Artists, musicians, perfomers etc, do what they do for many reasons. One of the most important is sharing their love of music, the other is recognition. The San Diego Music awards currently DO NOT have a latin music TROPICAL category. With the current growth in popularity of such music styles such as Salsa, Bachata y Merengue, this is totally unnaceptable ! Current prominent venues of tropical music, such as SEVILLA, CARIBE, RUMBA ( ONYX ), just to name a few, are 100 % tropical music in most of their nights. LET'S BRING A TROPICAL CATEGORY TO THE SAN DIEGO MUSIC AWARDS. Music is about LOVE, FUN, Sharing , happyness NOT ABOUT DISCRIMINATION !!
