As a Girl Scout I pledge to use safe behaviors, and make good decisions at all time when on the internet. I will do so on all devices, such as phones, computers, tablets, and kindles. If I am not sure about what I will post, I will ask a parent, guardian, or trusted adults for help. 1. I will not give out personal information, such as where my parents work, the name of my school, passwords, names of anyone, addresses, or other personal information. 2. I will tell an adult right away if I see or find anything inappropriate, or that makes me feel uncomfortable. 3. I will never agree to meet, or go somewhere I am asked to online, unless I ask a parent or guardian and my parent or guardian goes with me. 4. I will never send someone my personal picture, and I will ask a parent or guardian about any picture I put online. I will also check to make sure that addresses, license plates, houses, schools, or other identifiable objects are in the background. 5. I will talk with my parent or guardian so that we can set up rules for going online. We will decide on the time of day that I can be online, the length of time that I can be online, and appropriate areas for me to visit. I will not access other areas or break these rules without their permission. 6. I will not use the Internet to collect money for Girl Scout products, and I will follow all safety guidelines related to Girl Scout product sales. 7. I will practice good behaviors that are expected of me in real life, while online. This means not to tolerate, or cyber-bully others. Treat everyone with respect, and to get help if I see it happening. I will not use bad language, or talk badly about others. 8. I will be guided by the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all that I do online.
