There has been a lot of debate as to the future funding of our television, radio and online services due to the effect of increased competition in the market place, especially during the last fifteen years. The BBC costs us all 40p a day which we have to pay regardless of whether we use BBC services or not. The commercial channels, which we all pay for to indirectly regardless of whether we use their services or not are suffering due to a reduction in advertising revenue.
