Owner of a 2014 Storm bought new from a dealer. Chirp showed up. Paid dealer to "align". Came back, but after reading forum, applied PAM cooking spray. No more issues thus far.

Counter on some points:
Please verify 150k mile figure; I believe it is 50k (replace ~$250 belt & $500+ pulley at 50k miles).
I have run 6k miles over the past 6 months now (24k total over 19 months) and the alignment at my third set of tires at 18k miles is what made the difference - zero squeal over 6k miles.
IMO, Recalls are for safety issues. While upsetting, the belt squeal does not truly present a safety hazard. Nor would a recall affect the dealership's actions on reflashing the ECU. So I support the drive to get Triumph to address the squeal, but by researching the "proper" alignment method / technique / specifications, not by replacing the belt itself. Knowing what I know now, I may not have chosen the Thunderbird, and instead looked to another bike, simply for the costs involved in ownership / maintenance.

2014 Thunderbird LT, bike had chirp, dealer charged me to adjust belt. It's back in less than 500 miles. beautiful bike that gets lots of compliments, but no one that hears it make that noise would dream of buying one.

My Belt chirps every day when whether is wet !
I wrote to Triumph Italy but their answer was nothing at all.
I'm waiting for solution since three years.

I had belt noise issues for the first 4,000 miles on my 2012 Tbird. I took it to my servicing dealer 4 times for adjustment with no resolution. It wasn't until I called Triumph corporate in Atlanta GA that I got results. They ordered the dealer to replace my rear wheel hub assembly and it's now been 8,000 of noise free riding. I hope it stays this way.
