I as citizen of USA cannot condone John Eric Williams views on hatred an violence. Trinity College should not tolerate this and denounce him by firing him from faculty of Trinity College.

I am a graduate of Trinity College and am stunned the school would keep a professor on the faculty who calls for such violence and hate. Our country is divided today and alleged academics such as Prof. Johnny Williams who feed their egos at the expense of their students and colleagues only deepen the divide with such public comments. A true intellectual does not need to engage in such gutter politics and rhetoric to get his points across. He should be ashamed of himself and simply resign.

we cannot tolerate this type of attitude or action from anyone in this country let alone a professor.
The vitriol that has continued to spew from mouths of people that know better is just continuing to divide our nation. We must unite as a nation and flourish. The actions of Trinity College are counter productive and Professor Williams must be permanently removed as a professor.

In the end Trinity's actions in this matter show a shocking lack of backbone and fortitude to denounce hate speech by one of its own professors. What kind of example is that to students? If a student can rightfully conclude from this that it's okay to do the same thing as Professor Williams -- who suffered zero consequences -- then you need to rebrand your college as hate speech defenders.
