While sympthetic to the needs of the homeless, we oppose Trinity Cafe's relocation to 2801 N.Nebraska Avenue, decentralizing the current outreach operations at the Salvation Army located at 1603 N. Florida Avenue. Trinity Cafe's intent is to feed 200-300 homeless individuals 7 days/week at a location immediately adjacent to numerous single family residential properties. If this relocation occurs, the quality of life for more than 3,000 residents will be significantly and negatively impacted. This petition will be presented to City Council at an upcoming Council Meeting, and forwarded to Trinity Cafe's Board of Directors, Christ the King Church and the St. Petersburg Catholic Diocese. Let your voice be heard!
