It is simply a disgrace that a town the size of Trim, (which I love) and with its amount of talent and community that there is no Theatre or Community Centre. We excel and prevail with fantastic groups who are limited by the lack of a performance space, shoe-horned into venues where we do not belong. The biggest crime is to our audience, who continue to support the talent despite the settings being sub-par. The community deserves a space to call our own.

The financial output to make this possible would be recovered within the first year of functioning, if managed properly. There is no excuse for this not to happen.

So many community groups were put out OUR town hall. We have such a fabulous town lets get our town hall back and get it lovingly renovate it in line with with our courthouse and beautiful castle and remove the eye sore with smelly toilets and incorporate a modern tourist office and perhaps restaurant and get something to be proud of for our communities and our tourism.
This prime location could be turned into a feasible business that trim Co council could even get a source of revenue from if they leased out the restaurant franchise and with the tourist board. Any don't forget the hall hire fee income from all the various groups.
As recently see on the TRIM town hall page-

This is the only location that makes sense to use. With some imagination, innovation and creative thinking, the town hall is ideally placed to become a cultural hub for Trim and South Meath.

Travelled from Dublin to watch numerous plays, pantos and musicals and also performed on the stage there in Drama Festivals - an awful shame to let such a beautiful facility sit there idle. Restoring it for use is the only way forward.

I and many of my family have been on this stage. Trim is full of amazingly talented people who deserve an equally amazing stage to perform on. Resurrect the Town Hall and with the memories of old successes new ones can be made.
This town needs a credible venue for its talent.
We desperately need this in trim!!!
Time for action.
It should be restored for the people of Trim for all the performing and visual arts
