A friend of mine suffers immensely with TN, and has been to doctor after doctor, and has taken different pills with no luck of easing the excruciating pain. There needs to be a cure!

I've prided myself on always knowing my medical terms and basically having worked in a pharmacy and hospital and aspiring doctor I'm constantly studying....when i was hit with tn last June i had never heard of it. I couldn't believe that a disease so horrific and i had no idea what it even was. We definitely need to get more education out there. Then maybe people would be a bit more compassionate too .

This pain is worse than natural childbirth. It's time to speak about it and provide funding for more research.

This disease has stolen 14 years of my life. I had 2 brain surgeries that failed. I have had to file bankruptcy. Nearly lost everything including my husband of 24 years. No human should have to live in so much pain 24/7/365. It feels like a toothache, a severe migraine (had them since I was 4 years old) and having a baby out the side of my face. And it never stop.

I've had TN for 32 years. I am lucky to be pain free now,but am just in remission. So much more research is needed. So many suffer excruciating pain every day.
