I have suffered with TN for 20 years and feel hopeful that there will be a cure in my lifetime (68 years old now.) Although a rarity, please legitimize and draw attention to this debilitating disease. Research money is needed for a cure.

I have suffered from trigeminal neuralgia for at least a decade now. It is the worst pain imaginable. I've had four outpatient surgeries and still it comes back. Medications may work for awhile and then the body builds a resistance to them and new meds must be substituted for them. Sometimes, nothing works and then despair sets in.

I suffer with excruciating pain. There are days when just waking up to do small tasks wears me out. Imagine your worst headaches timees and 200. Add facial, tongue, ear, tooth, and lip pain.

They need to educate the dr's more and they need to get some funding for medicines that are designated for trigeminal neuralgia. Right now we only have antidepressants, and anticonvulsants not meant for trigeminal neuralgia. More awareness for this worst pain known to man disease.
