Thank you to all those that signed the petition. I'm happy to help with anything that helps build awareness for this terrible condition.

Thank you for your support in helping to find cures for this horrific, painful disease. My mother has had this for 7 years now, and people just don't understand how the pain can be so severe or how to help.

It is unbelievable that a disease known as 'The Suicide Disease' is not on the WHO "Health Topics" list. I know a person who is tough as nails who has TN. She was told by a neurologist, "You have a low pain threshold". Another neurologist said, "Have a good relationship with your GP". A 3rd neurologist said you have depression and sent her to a psychiatrist who said, "You don't have depression, you are despondent because those you trusted to inform you have betrayed you".

I have suffered with TN for five years and have had two surgeries to try and decompress the nerve. We need more awareness for this illness and more research done in order to help the thousands of sufferers throughout the world.

My boyfriend-husband suffered from this depressing illness and spent much of his youth battling this little-known disease. He finally found a cure through a non-medical way- chiracpratic practice!

I have suffered from debilitating migraines for 33 years. But at least there are doctors, medications, support groups and ongoing research. I cannot imagine someone having a pain that is magnified far beyond what I experience, and having nowhere to turn, no doctor who understands, no hope in sight. Please add Trigeminal Neuralgia to your health topics list. Please offer these sufferers hope!!!!!

Please help the people with the "Suicide Disease". It is utterly important to help the people suffering this disease, such as my cousin. Thank you in advance for considering this!

Because I have a friend with this condition I have learned how devastating it is. Shine the light on it and find ways to help people who suffer.

TN is a debilitating disorder and needs more recognition as well as expanded treatment options. I'd rather have a bone broken every week than suffer through face attacks intermittently as I do now.

My sister has been suffering with TN for approximately 20 years. I was diagnosed with TN about 5 years ago. I have suffered with migraines since my late teens and I always thought my sisters TN pain was like having a migraine in face until I had my first attack. My worst migraines, passing kidney stones, and my two labors cannot even be compared to TN pain.

This neuropathy is very serious for patients diagnosed with it and deserves more research.
