I suffer from Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia. It has wrecked my social life and ability to be at church and music functions/obligations.

So thankful for spreading awareness of TN. It's life altering, painful and consuming. It's so hard for anyone that has never heard of TN to start to understand. This is a blessing for all TN sufferers including myself.

I have suffered from TN for 10 long painful years with no relief. Mine was caused from a cancerous tumor being removed. My life has been turned upside down. Please help support this cause. Thank you, Wendy Adams

As a sufferer of TN a lot of us suffer in silence knowing there is little or nothing being done to make this brought to the attention of the world . Like a timebomb you are constantly waiting for it to attack and not knowing when is the killer .Support and understanding from my Loving family keep me going

I watched my cousin suffer with this excruciating pain. To see her dibilitated and unable to explain to myself or medical staff what was happening was just awful. But she lives with the anxiety that it could come back again at any time. Just awful.

I was diagnosed with TN a little over 7 yrs ago. Have had 2 MVDs, injections, Gamma-knife and a long history of various meds. It was intensified and made worse by a visit to a dentist even after informing them myself and providing reading material. The TN was "injected" causing it to spiral out of control again. Please, get info in the hands of the people treating us. They need more education and empathy. WE need a cure!!! Some of us aren't living..only existing locked in a horrendous cycle of pain that affects everyone we hold dear.

I hope this does get better recognition... It took over three years for it to be diagnosed in my mother.

A little empathy is all it takes to understand how important it is that Trigeminal Neuralgia be added to the Health Topics list. Nobody should have to live in constant excruciating pain. Nobody should ever be driven to suicide by the unremitting agony. If more doctors know about it, and more research is done, more people will eventually be able to live their lives instead of merely enduring a painful existence.

I am one of the TN patient, and I am 21 years old. with realizing this petition it will help and give mean alot to those TNers that suffer this illness.. We want just mere publicity, just the recognition in public to understand us but don't neglet us..we need support to to move on and we need place too in part of society.. we also human like everyone, just our condition is special in kind of way.

Adding Trigeminal Neuralgia of ALL types, ESPECIALLY atypical TN, is so vitally important for those of us who suffer in horrific pain EVERYDAY. I suffer with Atypical TN and have suffered with this horrible pain every single day for 7 years. To this day, the numerous doctors I have seen cannot find a combination of medications to give me more than one hour of decreased stabbing, drilling pain. This is a very debilitating disease! I am only 35 years old and would love to have my life back. Please recognize TN and add it to the WHO "Health Topics" list so we can work to get survives back! Thank you, Jodi Irwin

My Mom, who passed away in2002, lived with this condition for the last forty odd years of her life. At that time was never properly diagnosed...just a non-typical neurology. She endured unbearable pain for all of those years. Please help so that a cure can be found for this terrible condition.
