I am 35 with 2 small children. I ha bilateral Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have had MVD surgery on both sides. Both only lasted a matter of weeks. I had Gamma Knife on the left. Although it has helped some, I am still left in severe daily pain. I am a mother, a wife, a nurse, a human being. I need a life that is not crippled by pain. I need a cure.

Need more awareness, research and funding for Trigeminal Neuralgia.

My husband has suffered from TN for over a year. He has gone from a fit active man to one who is living a life of pain. He has now been diagnosed with SUNCT which is a condition very similar to TN. He has been told it is not life threatening but it is certainly life changing. Here's hoping this awareness will give awareness to get a cure from this debilitating condition.

We need a cure for this terrible thing!

My good friend suffers with this problem.

My Mother has suffered from this horrid disorder for over 20 years & it's heartbreaking to see the way it affects her. Some people may not have heard of it & can be quick to judge what they don't understand. This is THE WORST PAIN IN KNOWN TO MAN & I pray that some day, very soon, they will find a cure for it. The fact that it is also called 'the suicide disease' really does say it all. A cure is needed for all the sufferers, love & sincere sympathy to them all. I read Andrea Dickson's story. I know her parents and do not believe that any person should suffer like that. Let's find a cure!

I've watched the destruction this disease can do to someone personality, then their relationships, then stop them from being able to properly do their job, to finally making them contemplate suicide! This disease needs a cure!!

I was just diagnosed with TN this week. I've never heard of it before now which illustrate the need for awareness to be brought to the forefront of media and physicians so we can get the care that is desperately needed to go into each day ahead of us.

I want my life back I want less narcotics I wants drive again I've had 4 yes 4 BRAIN SURGERY 2 in the last 5 weeks I just need people to understand it's NOT A CHOICE AND most of all I want LESS ALOT LESS PAIN
