My beautiful, 24 year old daughter and mother of two, just got diagnosed with TN. This is a horrible disorder. It is not publicized enough and the public needs to be made aware of this. More research is definitely needed for newer meds that don't zone you out and help with the pain so that sufferers can maintain a good standard of living.

I have been in remission for years but i am experiencing an acute episode of it now and all i can say is the pain is beyond unbearable.

I have since 2003 had off and on attacks of TN.
