I suffer from ATN-my trigeminal nerve was damage during surgery to replace my right right jaw joint. That was over 8 years ago and I have been in debilitating pain 24/7 ever since. I'm lucky to have one good day a week, and that's usually spent at Dr appointment, picking up prescriptions or trying to get groceries. Please help us. The suffering is all too real. I used to be a very busy, motivated person. This condition has left me lonely and depressed. People don't understand it and we need to bring awareness to it and research to find treatments and cures. For my situation, there is NO treatment other then medications and the side effects if the meds are ruining my life. Thank you for your time.

I have a form of Trigeminal Neuralgia called Anesthesia Dolorosa.
So I think it would be lovely to have a day signify the disease.

It's heartbreaking to watch my mom suffer from this. Growing up she almost died till a doctor was able to determine what it was and how to temporary fix it. Now we are out of options and when the pain comes back then what? No one should have to suffer.
