i really hope and pray that someone will come up with a better cure for the people the suffer from the horrible condition.

I have suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia for nine years. I am now in "remission", which according to my neurologist, is a period of time with occasional pain controlled by medication. Because I was only 32 at the onset of TN, the doctors tell me that it is likely that remission will not last. Although this disease has been debilitating for me, physically and emotionally, I have had several medical procedures to control the pain, as well as taking a small handful of medication on a daily basis. I have been unable to receive any Social Security Disability benefits. To this day, my family depends on my husband's income as a route driver and his second, modest farm income. Prior to the onset of this disease, I had been a confident, manager for a habilitation facility. Today, I am attempting to reinvent myself, not knowing when I will relapse into battling TN (agressively) once more. Please help me and others like me to have my pain recognized, so we receive the benefits we deserve and so a cure may be found.

I have TNA

My daughter-in-law suffers from this disease. It was very difficult to diagnose since so little is known about it. No one knows what it is. I hope this helps in getting the word out and will lead to more research,
